Indonesia’s National Ulema Council says trading cryptocurrencies forbidden for Muslims

The country’s authority on Shariah compliance, the National Ulema Council (MUI) has ruled that crypto is forbidden among Muslims due to concerns over its uncertain nature and over wagering.
